As we opened our beautiful new butcher shop, and started cutting up beef and pork, we ran headlong into the realization that there is a lot of waste on an animal! In keeping with our frugal natures, we decided to try and make some kinda pet food or treats.  We have ended up with a nice 6 inch, 1/4 lb. patty, raw, frozen in 10 lb. bags.  There is some morgan meat, lotsa trim waste and some fat in these patties.  They are not always the same ratio, so we wouldn’t suggest them as anything but treats for your furry friends. OUR cats and dog love em and seem to be thriving on them, and we find they are easy to keep and feed. we can break the patties into pieces for the kittens, or fling whole into Gus’s waiting fangs.  They DO take time and equipment to make, so they’re priced at $5/lb.  Theres 40 patties per bag.
